Pat Summitt is a veritable legend and her story transcends the world of
sports. A Hall of Fame women’s basketball coach, Summitt paved the
way for women in sports as she led her teams to 8 national titles during
her 38 seasons at the University of Tennessee. But Summitt’s remarkable
life was cut short. She had begun to require Alzheimer’s care despite
her young age.
When you watch this video, you will hear an interview with Pat Summitt.
She discussed her early life, her career, and her struggles with early
onset Alzheimer’s. Although Summitt died in June of 2016, her legacy
continues to live on.
